Talks

I’ve given wildlife photography talks all over the world for a variety of camera clubs and organisations including The Societies of Photographers, Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp, Putney Women’s Institute (watch video) and the London Institute of Photography (watch video). I also host regular webinars for subscribers of Wildlife Focal.

If you’d like to book a talk either in person or online, just click the chat button or get in touch on +44 7942 800921 or at nick@nickdalephotography.com.

I charge £250 for a 90-minute talk plus any travel expenses.

The Photographer

I dreamed of becoming a photographer when I was 15, but my mother wanted me to go to Oxford instead—so that was that for 30 years!

Fortunately, I took up photography again in 2013, and I still love it just as much. If you fancy hearing a few traveller’s tales, I have plenty to tell, including shooting the Northern Lights at -37°C and being chased by a black rhino in Kenya…!

The Subject

I’m a wildlife photographer, and I have thousands of images of animals and birds to show you, from leopards in Africa to polar bears in the Arctic and penguins in the Antarctic.

I can tell stories of close encounters with bears, gorillas and elephants while also talking about the appropriate technique or equipment or rules of composition for each shot.

The Location

I spend a lot of time in Africa, and I’ve been on over 250 game drives there. However, I've been lucky enough to set foot on all seven continents, and every one has its own distinctive landscape, wildlife and inhabitants.

If you have a particular interest in one special part of the world, such as the Galápagos or the Antarctic, I'd be happy to tailor my talk for you.
